Designing with Purpose.
Growing with Every Challenge.

I’ve worked across SaaS, fintech, healthcare, and multi-platform products, partnering with cross-functional teams to turn complex workflows into clear, usable experiences people trust and enjoy using.

Experience

Senior UX Designer, Selerix Systems, Dallas, TX. | 2026

  • First designer on a 20-year-old healthcare benefits enrollment platform used by 14 million people annually. No design system, no information structure when I started.

  • Went through support ticket data before touching any screens. Found users were completing enrollment without understanding what they had chosen. Root cause was cognitive overload and no information hierarchy.

  • Redesigned enrollment so users always knew where they were, what things cost, and what came next. Built the design system from scratch: tokens, variables, Auto Layout, WCAG 2.1 AA throughout. QA cycles dropped 75%.

  • Designed BenefitsGenius, a real-time HSA calculator embedded in the enrollment flow. Support tickets related to HSA decisions dropped after launch. Migrated 14M+ user platform from Adobe XD to Figma.

  • Leading end-to-end product design for a multi-sided property management SaaS platform serving six user types across North American and African markets.

  • Designed role-based platform experiences where each persona sees the platform shaped around their actual job. Admins get density. Owners get clarity. Tenants see only what is relevant to them.

  • Designed AI-powered risk advisory tools with fail-safe retry states for fintech integrations. KPI dashboards and data-dense analytics views for executive decision-making.

  • Built design system with Figma variables, design tokens, and Auto Layout. Localization-ready for dual-market deployment across North America and Africa.

Product Designer (Remote), Calibrate, Chicago, IL. | 2025

  • Led UX design across 5 concurrent client engagements: financial aid, multi-brand ecommerce, energy, and enterprise SaaS. Different brief, different constraints, different team on every one.

  • Redesigned a financial aid platform where families dropped off across a 9-step process. Completion time down 60%, submission rate up 45%, support contacts down 80%.

  • Designed a multi-brand ecommerce platform from scratch: one shared component system, multiple distinct storefronts, B2B and consumer audiences from one interface.

  • Used usability testing, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to validate design decisions and iterate on shipped experiences across all engagements.

Senior UX Designer (Hybrid), Deloitte | 2019 — 2025

  • Six years designing enterprise financial services, regulatory, and public sector products across four countries. Pushed back when product direction did not match what users were showing us.

  • Designed core banking experiences for Africa's largest bank serving 25 million active users. Rebuilt a KYC and onboarding flow using journey mapping and A/B testing. Drop-off fell 15%.

  • Designed executive dashboards and compliance reporting tools for senior leadership. Improved data visualization and information hierarchy. Engagement up 30%.

  • Designed multi-persona platforms for administrators, field teams, and senior stakeholders within one shared information architecture. Mentored junior designers across concurrent engagements.

Personal qualities

  • I like solving problems that don't have obvious answers.

  • I am not afraid to challenge decisions when the research tells a different story.

  • Working across different countries has taught me to think beyond my own assumptions and design for a wider range of people.

  • I can bring structure to teams that are still figuring things out, whether that's creating a design system or improving how design fits into the product process.

  • I measure success by what reaches users and makes their experience better, not by how polished the mockups look.

Interests

  • Photography, particularly urban and nature landscapes.

  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in technology and design.

  • Reading, especially science fiction and design literature.
